Notice that this is "week 22," which means this contains my verses for the Calendar of the Soul for this week. If you want verses for week 23, you'll just scroll down near the bottom (Episode 2, week 23), and so forth.
Thank you for listening this year! I had fun.

Part II with Arielle. This is my last conversation for these podcasts, and I could not have had a better (smarter, more loving) person to talk with. Topics: immigration, racism, anarchy, community organizing, and how a person (of any/no color) could actually help.

August 13, 2016 07:01 AM PDT

Arielle and I talk about her work helping victims of domestic violence, but also of white privilege and the difficulties of teaching others to care.

August 06, 2016 06:56 AM PDT

Part II with Laura. We talk about the (poor) picture we Americans have of mideast countries, and the picture other countries have of us (Trump).

July 30, 2016 06:23 AM PDT

This week, part I of a conversation with Laura about her learning/speaking Arabic, being open to strangers, open to the world. Lovely.

July 23, 2016 07:17 AM PDT

Part II with Kofi. More about how to deal personally with racism. Non-violence, Brexit, complaining to God about how messed up things are. Being awake to the war, and the 23rd Psalm. I love talking with Kofi so much!

July 16, 2016 06:55 AM PDT

Kofi and I talk one last time here. We start by innocently making fun of Trump, but the conversation quickly turns to racism, as any about Trump should. Part I this week.

July 09, 2016 06:30 AM PDT

My newest friend, Ethan, talked with me from a mountain top about life, love, and the surprise of monogamy.

July 02, 2016 07:09 AM PDT

Part II with Oduro. Miracles, and the futility of suicide.

June 25, 2016 07:15 AM PDT

Very happy to talk with Oduro this week. Happiness, God, worry, money (the opposite of God is money, right?) Oduro, Kofi, Barbara and I were in Dornach together. Great people.

take it with you

Iphone_trans Listening to podcasts on your mobile devices is extremely convenient -- and it's what makes the podcasting medium so powerful.

You can take your favorite shows and mixes with you anywhere, but to do so requires some quick and simple steps.

Let's walk you through that process together.
step 1:

Click the "Subscribe With iTunes" link in the page's sidebar:

This will require that you have the iTunes software on your computer.

(You can download iTunes here.)
step 2:

Now that you've subscribed to the podcast on iTunes, the feed will display in your "Podcasts" section on the left navigation bar.

Click there and you'll see the show displayed in the iTunes browser.

You can "get all" to download all available episodes or just individual episodes.
step 3:

Plug your mobile device (iPhone, iPad, iPod) into your computer with the Dock Connector cable, and click the device in iTunes's left navigation bar.

Once you have your device highlighted, click "Podcasts" in the top navigation bar and sync the podcasts you want on your device. Click "apply" and the episodes you have downloaded on your iTunes software will sync with your device.
that's it!

The beauty of this process is that now, every new episode of your subscribed podcasts will automatically sync to your device every time you plug it in and open iTunes. You can now take your favorite shows with you everywhere you go.
